Electrolux joins global climate business network CLC

Electrolux today joins the global climate business network CLC (Climate Leadership Coalition). As a global sustainability leader, Electrolux is the first industrial Swedish company to join 82 organizational members contributing to the development of business-driven solutions for climate change.

CDP recognizes Electrolux climate and water action with double “A” score

Electrolux has been recognized for its sustainability leadership with a prestigious double “A” score by the global non-profit CDP. Electrolux is one of few companies to receive top marks both for its efforts to tackle climate change and acting to protect water security. For five years Electrolux has been on the CDP climate A list, whilst the place on the water A list is a first.

Electrolux presents vacuum cleaner made of 100% recycled and reused materials

Electrolux takes a new important step on the journey towards circularity with a prototype for change. Together with Stena Recycling, Electrolux has developed a vacuum cleaner made of 100 percent recycled and reused materials. The plastic and components originate from consumers electronic products, such as used hairdryers, vacuum cleaners and computers. The project addresses some of today’s key recycling challenges while exploring circularity in household appliances.

Electrolux takes action to reduce emissions from cooling products

Electrolux today announces a plan to replace all high-impact greenhouse gases in all of its appliances by 2023 at the latest, as part of its commitments to the United Nations global Cool Coalition initiative. The plan, which helps Electrolux deliver on its objective to significantly reduce its climate footprint over the coming decades, is one of the actions taken under the company’s Better Living Program.
