Financial data

Financial information is published quarterly and yearly. Key financial figures, including sales and employees by country, are displayed in the financial module below as well as in the excel file available for download.

Electrolux applies International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as adopted by the European Union. For more information see Note 1 in the Annual Report. Note that historical figures have been adjusted for changes in reporting structure of business areas, new accounting standards etc., which means that they can differ compared to previously reported figures in interim- and annual reports.

Electrolux Professional was separated from the Electrolux Group on March 23, 2020. As from 2018, the financials refer to the consumer business, continuing operations, exclusive of Electrolux Professional, unless otherwise stated.

Restated figures for 2018 in line with Electrolux new business area structure. Historical data including data from year 2000 up until Q4 2018 is available in the excel-file shown under Documents.

On February 1, 2019, Electrolux revised its business area structure:

  • Home Care & SDA business area, responsible for Electrolux offering of vacuum cleaners and other products for wellbeing in the home, was combined with the four major appliances business areas. This was effective retroactively as from January 1, 2019.
  • The major appliances organization in Middle East and Africa (MEA), which was part of Major Appliances Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), was included in Major Appliances Asia Pacific (APAC) as from January 1, 2019.
