Electrolux and designer duo Rave Review inspire people to keep their clothes longer

The most sustainable clothes are the ones you already have, but on average clothes are worn only ten times and thrown away long before they need to be [1]. That is why Swedish home appliance brand Electrolux wants to inspire consumers to break the pattern and take better care of their clothes. To demonstrate that used clothes still have value, Electrolux collaborated with Swedish fashion designer duo, Rave Review, to create a unique collection made from discarded clothing from the world’s second largest garment graveyard – The Atacama Desert.

Electrolux reveals cutting-edge water and energy saving laundry range at IFA 2022

Global appliance company Electrolux – under its premium brand AEG – reveals a new range of washing machines and tumble dryers that automatically adjust time, water, and energy usage. A new add-on filter catches up to 90% of microplastic fibers released by synthetic clothing. The world premiere takes place at global tech event IFA in Berlin on September 2-6, 2022. At IFA, AEG will also showcase its new range of food waste-saving fridges and freezers with unique models made with up to 70% recycled plastic in the inner liner walls.

Electrolux launches Appliance-as-a-Service program to promote circular economy

Electrolux reduces sea transport emissions by 15% in 2022
