We paid to repair our oven. The engineer came, spent 5 mins and guess that there was something wrong with one part. He said he ordered the part at the time and will fix in a week. It’s been a month now and when we called to follow up, they are saying that the part is no longer available and they can only do a partial refund because the engineer has been to see the oven. He barely looked at the oven and ‘guessed’ what’s wrong. Should’ve read these comments before we paid. It’s a rip off.
Just had a new kitchen and our washing machine stopped working with an error, engineer came out over a week later and put in a new circuit board and then it stopped working again a couple of hours later, then trying to get hold of someone is a nightmare!!!!!!!!
I have two of these oven but one has the light on when cooking the other one doesn’t
I hope this family run business kniws that you are happy to sell appliances that fail and leak dangerous gases just outside of warranty with no help from yourselves?

Hi AEG, our dishwasher broke down after 5 weeks of use. We have now been 7 weeks without it as your warranty team keep passing up back and forth.

Congratulations but you can’t fix them when they go wrong. 7 weeks, 7 engineer visits and I still have an extractor hood in bits in my lounge ☹️

Shocking! Have had 2 appliances fail within 4 years, a mini oven and now my integrated fridge freezer. 😡 we thought by spending more on a 'quality' product, we would be OK for a while. Sadly not, I would never touch, or recommend AEG again. 😔
Is this a joke?!? My washer (with a 5 year warranty) after just 3 years is wrecking my clothes and leaving marks all over them. I have just been told that it is ‘working to specification’

Shocking, 2 year guarantee means nothing. Waiting 5 days for a repair to fridge freezer. Mum with two small children requiring fridge part for toddlers meds and special diet. Promised 3 days never came. Rang constantly but can’t come til Fri. Foods will have to be thrown away. Tonight offered £75 to get a fridge but the local supplier said AEG should get real- you cant even buy a table top fridge for that. Do not be tempted to buy.

Do not choose this brand. The quality is not there and the customer service is too bad to be true. We have a washing machine under warranty. It broke down a month ago and we don't even have a repair date. You try to get in touch with them and they just mug you off or hang up. Terrible company. Thanks.
How do I get in touch to chase a refund? I've been waiting since 25th May when the returned product was delivered to you. I've put a message on the AEG site, I tried calling but there was no answer and it eventually disconnected. Last time I needed help I was on the phone for over 2 hours. How do I chase this up without wasting a huge amount of time? I purchased more than £3,000 of appliances which I love… but trying to get through and get anything done on the phone is just a terrible, terrible experience. Can you help?

This is absolutely disgusting. Our washing machine drum has required replacing once within 3 years and again within 12 months. Now we are stuck in the loop of it being apparently repairable, but no-one can get hold of the part to fix it. Your partner group pacifica have suggested we phone you for the part (with no clue as to what it is) and you won’t replace the machine (even though under warranty).

I don't really know how you have won this. We are now on our third oven (first one was damaged) but last two have had the same fault and had to be replaced by the retailer. You know there is a fault with this oven and yet you continue to sell them. I am now having to wait for an engineer to come and tell me they know there is a problem and there is nothing we can do about it. Well for an oven worth £1200, I think there should be something you can do!!
We are not getting any response from AEG after our dishwasher failed only a year after being installed. It is under warranty. Three bookings with an engineer & no one turns up. I had a complete new kitchen 2/3 months ago with an AEG built in double oven. It came with a grill pan with a wire inset grid and no shelves. Customer services told me that the purchase did not include shelves and I would have to buy them. I could not believe that a double oven cooker comes without shelves. I have since had to order two shelves. Also the oven controls have temperature settings on the sides and are too high up to see what temperature the oven is set at. Bad design, they should be on the front of the control knob. I am 5ft 9 inches tall.
I bought five, expensive AEG appliances for my new kitchen and three arrived faulty. One was replaced but the replacement is faulty as well. AEG totally refused to replace the other two. These were brand new, and unused but didn't work and AEG didn't seem to care. There was no apology, no acknowledgement that after spending several thousand pounds that it was a bit rubbish to have three faulty appliances. Instead they argued – for months. Eventually I did get replacements but no apology. I suggested they should offer some compensation but they said they don't do that sort of thing, cannot help me and wished me a nice day. Seriously, they wished me a nice day. They appear to have no integrity and I will never buy another AEG appliance. Be warned.
TERRIBLE customer service. Our fridge freezer has completely broken and it’s not even 3 years old. Currently on hold for 35 minutes waiting to speak to someone after the engineer meant to be coming tomorrow has cancelled and no sooner appointment then 7 days from now. Absolutely abysmal. Would NOT recommend.

I have a Fridge Freezer model SCK8191VTS that is less than 4 years old. Today I had your engineer to repair the unit and he has said it is beyond economical repair. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 a product must last for a reasonable time. A kitchen appliance is deemed a reasonable time as 10 years. If it last less than 6 years it has to be replaced by a new unit. I would like to know if it is for you to replace or is it for the company who sold the item to replace the item.
How? AEG are considered a premium brand and yet when it comes to warranty repairs they dont want to know! We (a family of 5 with 3 young children) have been without a washing machine for over a month! The machine is still under warranty and AEG has palmed us off on to a 3rd part repair company who have to date, arranged and failed 4 appointments. First two were no shows, third an engineer arrived, took washing machine to bits then discovered that the replacement part was incorrect. Another appointment was arranged and then just get a text message saying "not coming today". Now have to wait till the 17 July for the next appointment! Got in contact with AEG again and AEG couldn't care less! DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS!

Dear AEG, congratulations on winning this award. If only I had managed to buy one of those award winning appliances instead of the actual AEG appliances I have to contend with. My induction hob failed after less than one month's use. I reported the fault on the 19th of June, a 3rd party engineer turned up on the 22nd but could not repair the hob as he had no spares with him despite my giving the fault codes when I reported it. He also had the wrong part for my faulty oven (separate issue) so that couldn't be repaired either. Hob repair arranged for the 30th of July. Called up to ask if the date could possibly be brought forward and was offered £75 towards a 'temporary appliance' instead. What temporary appliance can I buy for £75 that replaces my induction hob? Today Pacifica emailed me to kindly inform me that my repair has been pushed back to the 11th of July which is simply not acceptable. If I wanted to be without a usable hob for the best part of a month, why did I buy one of yours? Is this what I signed up for when I bought your award winning appliances? Currently sorely tempted to rip all five of them out and start again with a different manufacturer!
Never buying an Aeg appliance again, my Fridge Freezer died after less than 3 years due to an inherent fault, and all Aeg did was give me the chance to buy a more expensive model. Shocking customer service and product quality.
The worst customer service!!!! New kitchen fitted last October, my AEG hob broke on the 1st June and I am still waiting for it to be repaired!! The engineer that came out has messed us about with not turning up 3 times then lying about what he said to us on the initial visit. We are beyond fed up now as the part apparently was never ordered for repair when he 100% said that the part had been ordered. Coming up to the 3 month mark now, completely unacceptable 😤 I asked for a replacement as I have 2 kids to feed, they said no because it can be repaired… REPAIR IT THEN 😡
I bought an AEG DCE731110M Built-In Electric Double Oven in May for a new build extension, I had it installed in early August; it didn’t work. Engineer arrived a week after I reported it and advised it needed a replacement component and he’d be back the following week. Later the same day I was told the part wasn’t in stock and it would be repaired a week later. I’ve now been told that the engineer is sick and the visit has been delayed again. For an oven that sells for in excess of £1000 I think it is not unreasonable for AEG to offer to replace this faulty unit.

Absolutely appalled at AEG. Bought an integrated washer dryer machine before Easter. When the technician fit it three weeks later he damaged my kitchen integrated units by drilling into the front of the gloss panel to pull it out leaving unsightly marks! He also used old cables instead of new ones and the installation was appalling. To top it off the machine was faulty and AEG couldn’t get another one to us for nearly a further month so we had to order one from a different provider. They picked up the faulty machine a week later and a further three weeks after we are still awaiting our refund. It’s been promised numerous times and still not materialised. No apology for damaging the units either from them or their fitters. Shocking customer service and will never buy from them again. Just want our money back!
Hi I really need help! My 5 month old AEG washing machine has EFO error and water leaking it just won’t work. Took ages to get through to team after being cut off managed to speak to someone who said first appointment wasn’t until 4th June, I really can’t be without a washing machine for all that time (it’s already been 5 days) 😭 I’m also worried that I haven’t had any confirmation to say the appointment is booked in. I don’t feel that it is reasonable for AEG to expect me to wait all this time.
Avoid at all costs, 3K fridge freezer just out of warranty, two visits from an engineer, 1st visit just told to defrost and it will be ok, 2nd visit and it’s beyond economical repair, due to insulation fault during manufacturing and now it’s tough, it’s your problem.
An absolute insult of a discount on a replacement appliance which would equate to over £5000 spent on fridge freezers in less than four years.
No refund on the fix price repair. what an absolute joke of an outfit AEG, Electrolux 😡😡😡😡
The products themselves are good but the customer service from AEG is absolutely shambolic. Engineers who didn't carry out any fault finding, just replaced gas, AEG in warranty staff replacing my faulty product with a different model despite them having all the necessary details, in all, more than 2 months to get the issued resolved. Nobody answers emails, the call handlers use WhatsApp to discuss customer issues with line managers, calls are never returned. I would never buy from AEG/Electrolux again. Unfortunately I had all AEG appliances fitted in my kitchen but will be chucking them as and when they fail rather than going through warranty again. A truly awful experience.
Would never ever buy or recommend AEG we have nearly had our house burnt down after the combi oven ( 3 years old ) set on fire and was so hot the element was white and was spitting out bits of metal like it was being welded.. had to wait for someone to look at it .. absolutely useless said well that can’t be repaired ..OBVIOUSLY!! Now not heard anything else .. on top of this a few months ago my AEG fridge leaked causing 9k worth of damage which I’ve only just got repaired and last year the same oven that has now set on fire had the whole glass door explode on my teenager .. I’m now looking at taking legal action as I’ve not had any response to this last incident and wish I’d reported the fridge also as it’s clearly a major problem with AEG products.

Unfortunately The part you received would be a chargeable replacement at this time.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. You decide what is covered under warranty. Not a third party
Had a call last Friday from AEG after posting which reenergised their effort to fix our complaint. However, a call in the afternoon was promised with a path forward. But we are now late Tuesday afternoon and still no follow up. So three months after saying our extractor isn’t working- after just over a year of use we don’t have a working extractor and still no phone number I can call directly- just people they subcontract to- and we are they have no power to take action. Ridiculous after sales support from AEG. 3 months and 4 visits- someone should just make a decision and install a replacement. 😫😤😭
Shame on you AEG! Hundreds if not thousands of orders not fulfilled for vacuums sold on your website mid May. No info on this subject, only by chance when I tried to chase my order up I’ve learned that although you took the money, you have none in stock! When asked when it will be restocked then – no info, no delivery date in sight! Getting through to the CS team – impossible! This bloody Freya redirecting all the calls to spare parts department who know nothing about new appliances. Mess, huge mess. Poor communication, poor service, poor company! 🤬

Absolutely fed up with AEG! I have been without a dishwasher since Feb. Under warranty issue and they took so long to sort it out it went out of warranty! Same problem as in warranty and they are saying they can't replace because it is now out of warranty. They told me I can't speak to anyone as managers don't take phone calls. Emailed so many times as managers only respond to emails (they don't!) Promised these imaginary managers would get back to me by customer service staff and nothing. Avoid this company as they do not uphold their warranty agreement! It is not my fault Pacifica they use couldn't fix the warranty issue in a timely manner. Pacifica do not check the appliance is working before they close the job down each time they visit. I will be taking this further!
Wish I’d seen the reviews before we had AEG hob and double oven fitted. Took about 30 mins on the phone to get an appointment for an engineer to come and fit a new bulb in the bottom oven, assuming that’s why the light is not working, a month after it was fitted. The lady was lovely but the system is usless, she was having to email for authority and wait for a reply. In the end an appointment was given 3 days ahead, not bad at all. Just see if they come now.
Hi I am experiencing an issue with my washer dryer only 7 months old. Between AEG and Domestic and General I am not getting any clear and consistent information being referred back and fore between organisations. No indication of part availability and no indication of a repair date.
Well absolutely amazing on energy it uses no power because it doesn’t work. It is taking over a week for parts for a machine just over 6 months old. It is taking over 24 hrs to get the part of a shelf as showing part being picked. Absolute joke.
Can anyone explain why rather than discussing progress of a repair I am being continually disconnected. This is ridiculous.

The worst customer service ever! It is super hard to get in touch with customer service and I feel like I am being fobbed off. I cannot get a tracking number for my supposed toaster replacement that I have been waiting for 2 months. They are ridiculous to deal with. My toaster has been used about 7 times and then handle suddenly won’t work or stay down. I am in warranty with over a year left. And this is what I get.. a fake promise of replacement that was never ever sent!! Dodgy scam company with badly built products! Avoid at all costs!
Brand new microwave, breaks after 5 months. This was in February. They have sent 2 different companies to repair it (6 different times). They repair it and breaks again within days or week. Since February we have only had a working microwave for 4/5 weeks overall. They refuse to replace it. With a 2 year old and a new baby arriving in 4 weeks they are making our lives miserable 😭 please, we need HELP!

Had a engineer appointment booked for 1 September, he didn’t visit me but instead diagnosed the problem over the phone and booked a appointment to fit the new part a week later.
The engineer claimed that he fixed the problem today and left my property only for me to find it’s still not working!
Been told I have to wait another week for someone else to come and look at the machine, so that will be 3 weeks without a washing machine!!!
Not ideal with a family of 6 that requires clean school clothes!
Come on AEG get your act together these machines are not fit for purpose and you are charging top money for them
So update on my post which prompted a number of you to share similar stories, thank you. 8th engineer visit failed to repair extractor (this has now taken 2 months) offered to replace but when chased today it is out of stock, expected back in stock next week but they can’t tell me when I will get my replacement. Despite sending in 2 complaints via the email they give you and the online contact form I have received no response. Asked for a ‘direct email address’ or telephone number and been refused, they don’t have a number for complaints and the email I have used is the only one! What an absolute shambles. I have written to Watchdog/The One Show and would ask you to do the same so hopefully they pick up the problems and expose them for what they are watchdog@bbc.co.uk
hello I have a Protex Lavamat Washer dryer, many years ago I was told by a repair agent that using the plastic capsules was not advised for Washer Dryers, as some plastic could get into the dryer, is this still the case?

Worst customer service ever!! Been waiting since June for them to fix our dishwasher!! It's September now! They took the payment no problem though. Absolute joke. No replies to any emails or anything! Appalling.
Oh I'm looking to have aeg in my new kitchen but the products I'm looking at are not available on web site how do i know when back in stock?
Funny this advert as I bought one direct end of Nov 2022. Still no sign of it. No one helps and just says we will sort it.
E mailed the CEO as I think the boss should know how BAD company is.
AEG broke my induction hob during a repair in July and still refuse to take any responsibility. It's still not resolved. keep calling and getting "disconnected" or put on hold until the customer services dept. closes.

2 out of 4 kitchen appliances broken within 2.5 years of purchasing. After multiple chats with customer service, I have not even got the energy to go into why this company and products are so bad. Have a quick look at Trust Pilot. 316 reviews and 93% are a 1 star. Anyone would be crazy to buy anything from this company after reading these reviews.
Absolute disgrace of a company paid £819 for a cooker in February 2021 ( same one for sale today at £1119 ) 5 year warranty third time in 3 weeks it's broken down engineer came yesterday for it to break again the same evening – reported and wait till next Thursday for another engineer visit will have been unable to cook a meal properly now for 4 weeks ! Still won't agree to replace constant messing and not sorting the problem how are we supposed to have a Christmas when can't even cook a quick meal !! AVOID !!!
Our £779 induction hob/cooker is falling to bits after less than 3 years.
THIS IS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH, AEG! Am I to be one of those who slags your company off (as I have seen all over the web), or can you redeem yourselves in my eyes? We installed a new kitchen as part of our home renovation just over two years ago – including a pricey, integrated AEG fridge freezer. This ran out of warranty in June of this year and, lo and behold, it stopped working completely, yesterday. A friend in the know said that one of the pipes has burst (we can see the plastic has blown up like a bubble on the back wall at the top of the fridge), and we are told that it's pointless signing up for an AEG 'Repair and Care' plan, as any repair on this problem won't last and it will only fail again. So, we now have a useless fridge freezer, in an aperture that will only take that exact size of appliance so therefore, no option than to replace like for like. Argghhh! Impossible to talk to anyone, get sent around the houses and even when the live-chat gave me a number to call to book on the rip-off 'Repair and Care' service – nobody answered! We deserve more as consumers! AEG – HOW DO YOU INTEND TO HELP US? I shall take to Twitter too and write to your Chief Exec in the strongest possible terms.
I would NEVER buy AEG products again and would never recommend them to anyone. We had a new kitchen in 2016 with all AEG products. We've had to replace the washing maching; the microwave was repaired twice before finally giving up the ghost; the oven has been repaired; now, a spring on the dishwasher has gone so the door drops down (great when you have two young children!) and the induction hob has just started playing up. Absolute disgrace with what they charge that their products don't last any longer than a couple of years.
Breakdown of 4 year old AEG washing machine under warranty – 2 cancellations from Pacifica repair people. Last visit yesterday – apparently still not clear what's wrong but I will be marked for emergency visit…this morning I'm offered a visit on 1st August. I've cancelled and am getting rid of this

Absolutely nightmare never again will I buy or recommend AEG products fridge freezer is four months old and the fridge does not work have had to throw so much good food ,they refuse to replace it they want to repair it it’s four months old just give me one that works correctly by the sounds of it I think I did the wrong thing thinking these are quality products as clearly they are not why supply products that clearly have issues just a bit of honesty would be good.shame on you.

My toaster has been used about 7 times and then handle suddenly won’t work or stay down. I am in warranty with over a year left. And this is what I get.. a fake promise of replacement that was never ever sent!! Dodgy scam company with badly built products! Avoid at all costs!

AEG customer service is a joke! I have sent several emails, used the website contact page and spoken to the call centre several times. After several weeks of waiting, I have still not received a response! This is terrible service from a premium brand. If you are hoping to have a quality product and good customer service, you will not find it with AEG.
NOTE TO ANYONE BUYING AEG OVEN: Registered product for guarantee to be told what isn't covered, the buttons, so if the on/off, temperature button etc fails AEG make you pay for it!!! Won't be buying anymore AEG products for sure!
2 out of 4 kitchen appliances broken within 2.5 years of purchasing. After multiple chats with customer service, I have not even got the energy to go into why this company and products are so bad. Have a quick look at Trust Pilot. 316 reviews and 93% are a 1 star. Anyone would be crazy to buy anything from this company after reading these reviews.
Absolute disgrace of a company paid £819 for a cooker in February 2021 ( same one for sale today at £1119 ) 5 year warranty third time in 3 weeks it's broken down engineer came yesterday for it to break again the same evening – reported and wait till next Thursday for another engineer visit will have been unable to cook a meal properly now for 4 weeks ! Still won't agree to replace constant messing and not sorting the problem how are we supposed to have a Christmas when can't even cook a quick meal !! AVOID !!!
can you please advise why your subcontractor Pacifica Group Ltd engineer lied about a repaired that he never carried out???? job 10571500 and your customer service is not willing to help???????? appliance is still under manufacturer warranty!!!
Can you please tell me why you keep putting my phone down, I need to get this sorted my hob is dangerous to use, I have been contacting you since yesterday for you to keep cutting my calls. Are you taking responsibility if the hob blows up or one of us get electrocuted. There is a fault with the appliance as a crack is over one zone of ceramic hob the therm we breaker has not kicked in and cooking zone has got too hot causing a crack across affected area this is the theirs time for being on hold you have put my phone down
TERRIBLE!!!!! customer services !!!! you do not pick up the phone ever ! Our very expensive Combi microwave oven has fused the entire house !!!!!! I need to book a repair – you do not pick up a call or the "Chat" option – do not advertise this service falsely when you do. not care about your customers needs !!! We have a very DANGEROUS appliance !!!!! fusing the entire house !!!!!!!!

Natalie Elizabeth I totally agree with your comments, I have just had them out for the 6th time to repair a cooker that as not been working since new, and yet again, the man does nothing, looks at the cooker, turns a dial, doesnt test anything, tries to tell me that the reason it is only cooking once side of the food is because we are not turning the food half way through, then tried to tell us it was the pan we were using it was wrong, however it was the pan that came with the cooker so how can it be wrong, I have been cooking a lot longer than most of these people have been on this earth, and quite frankly all of this is as shabby as hell, when I buy a cooker I expect it to work, not only half cook food, oh and I was told that it clearly states in the manual that I must turn food half way through cooking, funnily enough the only reference we can find is DO NOT OPEN THE COOKER DOOR WHILST COOKING…….so that AEG for doing absolutely nothing to a broken cooker…..will never ever buy an AEG product again…..
Your appliances are terrible. My fridge is just outside of warranty and has broke already even though I paid twice as much for a supposedly premium product. I was not surprised to hear about your use of forced labour from Nazi concentration camps, maybe you still do use forced labour, hence the terrible quality and awful customer service.

AEG UK worst customer service ever I spent 40 mins on your phone line being passed to 3 separate agents. Got cut off no one called me back. Now I’ve spent an hour on your chat function and it was even worse. Got passed to someone in your warranties team who failed to help then the chat was disconnected. Don’t buy a product from here if you want any kind of after care even if in warranty!
