I didn’t have the opportunity to have such nice holiday!
My gas Hob stopped working before Xmas and to date it has not been fixed!
I paid 167 pounds on advance to get it fixed and it has been a joke!
First visit booked for the 18th of December and nobody turned up!
Then 4th of jan and the engineer did not know what to do with the hob.
Followed by a visit early Feb where the engineer changed all parts and now it does not want start at all.
From there lots of appointment cancellation and rescheduled but the outcome is that it has not been fixed.
They supposed to come today, only find out after a phone call that the engineer is now coming on the 7th!
I have made endless phone calls and complaint especially because I have disable people in the house but they simply ignored me.
This company is a joke and they think that we do not need to eat.
For the records I bought an expensive gas hob over a thousand pounds so it was not the bottom of their range…
Before buying any AEG appliance go over and read trust pilots reviews. They Charge so much money for appliances but they don’t last long. Had an American fridge freezer which was deemed unrepairable – was only 3 years old 😮. After care shocking! Paid for repair service through them and it took a year for the engineers to come to a conclusion it was not fixable. Over to Samsung I go 👋🏼

We have been customers for over twenty years and we have always loved the design, innovation and value of AEG appliances, but this time our cooker hood developed a malfunction after 10 days from installation. We though it will be repaired… we have been lied now for 2 months , they refuse to own up to warranty or consumer act 2015. We had two visit from very dubious engineers who lied and told us: first the unit was normal and then that it was malfunctioning because our installation was not correct!
Absolutely outrageous service so we now are forced to get our £840 back from Barclaycard!

I really wouldn’t recommend buying anything from AEG. I bought a combination microwave/oven about seven years ago for around £800 and the inner workings have completely rusted so it’s stopped working and can’t be repaired. It’s always produced loads of water and I’ve had to keep mopping it out, which is one of the reasons I stopped using it much.
AEG’s solution was to sell me a fixed price repair of £169. Engineer came out and couldn’t fix it, then I heard nothing for three weeks until I chased them up. Even though they couldn’t repair it they only refunded half the repair fee. Now they say there’s nothing they can do except offer me £75 off a new oven, which would cost £850 after the reduction.
Why on earth would I buy another expensive oven off them? Their goods are awful and the customer service worse!
Wow looks like it’s not just me having the worst customer service. Product out of warranty now but over 11 reference cases by email (not including the phone calls) and now they won’t do anything about it because it’s out of warranty. Not fixed for very long by any engineer. Please do not purchase and AEG product because of the horrendous after care !!!
Absolutely the same type scenario here. Engineers called after first repair which lasted one week…nothing for weeks then engineer called to say the stove was now obsolete. it was fine, but the controls didn't work so couldn't switch the oven on. still waiting for a response to most recent calls. The most responsive 'person' is Freya the AI call handler….not even a real person! She checks and knows I've called recently…before asking if I want to be connected to a 'real' human! Disgraceful. The replacement AEG stove (we thought was like for like) is totally not fit for purpose! Want my money back.
I can see why they won't allow new comments. I normally don't write these type of reviews, but AEG (South Africa Tech Support) have just got my back up by miss quoting me and then killing the call. I bought GRADED £2.2K induction hob for circa £1600 with 12 months manufacturers warranty from allyourappliances.co.uk. Good service, but the hob has never worked and tripped the main fuse. Booked a call and the AEG nominated repair company, Pacifica engineer arrived with no parts and said "This is a complete strip down and we normally don't do complete strip downs on site" (words to that effect). I said "fine, if this a complete strip down, then things are never the same after such a big rebuild, I'd prefer a replacement, but if it's repaired, so be it." Last weeks engineer cancelled after a week booking and said he didn't have the parts, and today an engineer arrived and stated he hasn't got all the parts, so no point in repairing. Now here's my bone of contention – I phone AEG service, a woman with a South African accent, said "you refused the 1st engineer to repair and instead on a new one." I told her that was totally untrue, to which she said "It's your word against Pacifica." She couldn't have pressed my button any harder. So, I insisted she put me on a 3 way call to Pacifica and the lad, was very firm that it was NOT THE CASE I refused and engineer and he question why their notes differed from AEG – she put the phone down, or we got cut off. I rang again and a lad in the UK read her notes and stated "Oh she said she's put a 3 way call, but hasn't put the out come to the call." Now,I have an AEG oven and bought this state of the art product (yes, graded with a year's warranty) but I will not tolerate being called a liar or certainly implied. Is this acceptable?

Don’t waste you’re money, poorly made appliances and poor customer service
AEG are a joke. They take your money but when things go wrong and you return the product they aren't very forthcoming with a refund. A month I have been waiting for a refund and it still hasn't been received. Despicable!
Wish my holidays hadn’t suffered because my AEG dishwasher broke 1 month after the 2 year warranty expired! Cannot believe an appliance that cost so much money can’t last even 25 months…
Had 3 aeg appliances delivered end of January fitted end February integrated microwave went rusty on white enamel bottom of door. i rung customer service who said it wasnt covered under 2 year warranty. i received an email to leave a review and low and behold after it wasnt a good one the aftercare team got in touch. the latest is they said they will send an engineer not heard anything back off them yet. consumer rights you are entitled to a replacement a repair or some refund within 6 months of buying. i will be taking this further. you dont buy an appliance costing £430 to go rusty after 3 weeks and try to tell you you have used a strong cleaner or put things in microwave that arent supposed to be in i will be posting every day till this is resolved
Reading above. We are another AEG customer who has been left with no ceramic hob for nearly 2 months. Product in warranty. It took 10 days to get an engineer out to us. Parts were out of stock took weeks with poor communication. Refused to replace the hob. As we got no clear idea when we would get this fixed and found on line that parts were out of stock until at least 3 months time we bought another hob from a different manufacture. We were offered £70 towards an air fryer. Utterly useless I will never buy another product from AEG. Warranty is worthless. When the engineer came back to repair he was surprised as it had been so long. I’m now out of pocket £600 you can buy the repaired hob back!

To whom it may concern,
Re: faulty installation service induction hob 28/08/24
I have not received a reply to several emails commencing 29/08/24 22 regarding the faulty installation which I bought from you on 11/08/24
These emails explained what is wrong with the installation with photos and why I am entitled to a corrective course of action by AEG at no further cost to us.
I would like a reply as soon as possible so that I know you have received this letter. To email us and ask us for our contact details on two occasions then no further communications is unacceptable.
If you don't agree to any form of communication to discuss corrective actions at your cost, could you please then send me a detailed response saying why you don't agree.
To avoid taking court action, I am willing to use Alternative Dispute Resolution to resolve this problem.
If I do not receive a satisfactory response from you within 14 days of the date of this letter, I intend to issue proceedings against you in the county court without further notice. This may increase your liability for costs.
I refer you to the Practice Direction on pre-action conduct under the Civil Procedure Rules, and in particular to paragraph 13-16 which sets out the sanctions the court may impose if you fail to comply with the Practice Direction.
I look forward to your acknowledgement.

Bought 6 years ago oven.
With the time the grill bar in the top oven start to bend. Never had this previously in any other oven.
I contact their customer service they didn’t bother to explain it and suggested to book engineer.
Engineer was booked and it was paid.
On the day of appointment I contacted customer service to verify engineer is coming and told yes.
I then saw they provided me with third party company to check status with engineer. I called them to find out there is no engineer booked.
Called back again AEG and told there was IT error.
Offered to book a new appointment or get the money back (within 7-10 working days).
Compensation I need to send email and to explain why they should give compensation. Isn’t been on a call with them , the third party and chat due to their mistake is not enough? Is their IT problem the customer problem?
In additional when I asked to speak with manager I’ve been told there is no one. After I pushed more suddenly there is a manager.
What a poor customer service.
Never again.

Nothing changes, abysmal products and service
It's a shame you sell ovens that are not fit for purpose !!! My daughter's oven door exploded ( when it wasn't even turned on ) was told an engineer would call round to replace the door, had to take a day off work only to find out it was an inspection only and that they would return in a few days to replace the door and then only to be told that you are out of stock and the door won't be replaced until July!!!
But ironically you have the said door in stock for a cost of £120.
AEG goods are not fit for purpose. Stick to Bosch!!!
Horrendous customer service. Send the wrong engineer, call when you say you can’t be in, ring the engineer and still in bed. Appalling.
I HAVE HAD NO HOB FOR 2 MONTHS, STILL UNDER WARRANTY, 3 ENGINEER VISITS AND STILL NOT FIXED. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS APPAULING.
Hob not working AEG for 2 months. Your engineer completely broke it today and we have no gas at all- and he left a family of 7, with medical needs with no means to cook or solution. Just said he doesn’t know how to fix it! Stop selling 5 year warranties if you don’t honour them!
I have an oven which is just above 2 years keep on showing a fault two engineers came to fix it and still not fixed . Very sad and disappointing
AEG absolute joke 😡 new hob purchased, faulty from new, trying to get sorted via warranty, 2 home visits with no luck and now AEG service partner making excuses! I just want this replaced as is my right! If you are thinking of purchasing an AEG product I would seriously consider going elsewhere 😡
I feel robbed by AEG, their support is beyond awful, just plain unacceptable, I would do my best to alert the world about avoiding this brand, for unethical response to paid service.
Thank you for the happy holidays message, my 80 year old friend, an ex police sergeant, from Norwich is most definitely not going to enjoy his holidays, as his under counter/ worktop fridge still continues to be a problem, from the day it was installed, with numerous calls to your company and sadly some poor quality service engineers, who are amazed that it has not been replaced !!
The cost of the engineers, having attended numerous times, has possibly cost more than the fridge itself, possibly a few times over, I am so very disappointed with AEG, you really have to get your act together, these are your customers and you’re letting them down 🤡

DO NOT BUY AEG, they work until they stop (within the warranty) there is no aftercare. Many engineer visits. Disorganised repair service system. On the phone with call centre for hours on end. They left you waiting with elevator music and if you are holding on long enough, the line is cut off anyway. We have been without a working tumble dryer for 2 months now. Pathetic.
My brand new, delivered yesterday washing machine is not working. No one on the online chat, no one answering customer service (having been transferred four times). Wish I had stuck to NEFF.
Absolute nightmare when you’ve got a warranty issue – steer well clear! I’d like an AEG hob that actually works instead of spending my time trying to speak with your customer services and service partners! You are a joke of a company 😡
Dreadfull company !!! We have left with washer dryer worth £1200 which stopped drying clothes after 10m9nth since buying. They've send engineer who from first visit try to convince us don't doing the washing-drying properly ….yeee suddenly after 10 month we've unlearned it 😅 His second visit was the same. As he couldn't find any issue ( for him) hmmm I do not think he even try, he just replaced control board ( which he told from the beginning it won't fixed problem) and still try to convince this time my partner we do not now hoe to use it properly. Mind blowing customer service !! Today we got an emial saying the claim is closed beacuse '"The engineer noted that the applience have missused and that you are frequently changing the programms". What that even mean? I thought the programms are for different use, right? FYI i used maybe 3 programms overall from. At this point we will forward this case to Ombudsman. We didn't pay £1200 just for washing machine and we have left just with washing machine at this point. NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM AEG !!

I’m not going to go into chapter and verse as it’s far to long with all the phone calls , appalling service , attitudes and the best one
Is sending a young lad to our property on 25th July at 9pm just to take photos of the appliances and he had NO PARTS ‼️
This company and there sub contractors are a disgrace ‼️

Terrible reliability & even worse after care & customer service. We paid a premium price for our AEG appliance, only to be abandoned when it has broken down. Is there any chance someone in customer care can answer the phone.
My new cooker, bought in August is cutting out, the repairman has attended and told me it is a circuit board problem that you are aware of and that there are no replacement boards so I will need a replacement cooker.
I have a ticket number and have rung but no one answers.

AEG what is going on with your customer service? Calling for 3 weeks and nobody seems to know what they are doing, get a different answer each time and have to explain each time as my account never gets updated after each call. Shocking just shocking
I have a new hob fitted 2 weeks ago error code E 9. Repair cant be done until 20 th of Dec!.Aeg operator told me to ring my local repair people but they are not taking calls. Emailed complaint line. I have several aeg appliances but never had to use their repair service. Rubbish. I think the one girl on the line has gone to lunch now 30 min wait.

Your pain! I had a fridge fitted in august and it’s never worked properly. 3 engineers visits later and it still doesn’t and they wont agree to replace it! I bought 7 appliances in one go with my new kitchen and I’m disgusted they won’t agree to swap it for one that works! It’s been faulty since the day it was fitted!! And it’s now November! Shocking
I agree my friend spent 16 thousand pound on a loverly kitchen from wicks which looks great,the appliances were all aeg including a intergrated freezer which stopped freezing about 2 months after it was fitted,they have been out 3 times and fitted 2 new control boards the 3rd engineer said he can't take freezer out cause they only give him 30 minutes to repair it he has told wicks that my friend said that they refused to have it re gassed which was a lie so now wicks won't even replace, it cost nearly 1 thousand pounds, I was going to get the same appliances for my kitchen but will now buy something .that is not supplied by aeg or electrolux or any brand they might own and go to samsung
We purchased 4 AEG appliances, 2 developed fault within 6 months and another with 12 months, we recieved poor customer service each time. One of the fixes broke an again after another 6 months After 2 years another appliance went pop, so we replaced it with a non AEG. Then today 4 years after first purchase the oven has gone pop. Range customer service for help and got a poor response once again. So I guess that will be another few £££ on a new non AEG appliance. Never again.
I 100% agree, I have paid for an engineer to fix my integrated Oven on the 9th November, 3 engineer visits have been cancelled. They have just contacted me today from Pacifica to tell me they haven't ordered the right part! 2 visits cancelled due to Engineer being ill, now the excuse has changed to the parts! Merry Christmas to you too AEG, absolutely appalling!!
Place an order black Friday week washing machine and tumble dryer. Washing machine damaged at point of delivery looked worse than my 15yrs old machine it was replacing. Now out of stock and tumble dryer has been reallocated to someone else to fulfill their pending order.
I had a 3 year old fridge/freezer that went wrong,it died! It was not repairable having waited two weeks for an engineer to attend. I ordered a new appliance, had it fitted that cost a fortune for 20 minutes work.
I paid for the engineer visit and told if I ended up buying a new appliance I would be refunded a portion of this payment. Despite emails etc no refund has been paid. No response to my email complaints despite them being acknowledged. I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received as I have not received my refund. AEG where is my refund? To be honest not sure I would use them again.

We paid to repair our oven. The engineer came, spent 5 mins and guess that there was something wrong with one part. He said he ordered the part at the time and will fix in a week. It’s been a month now and when we called to follow up, they are saying that the part is no longer available and they can only do a partial refund because the engineer has been to see the oven. He barely looked at the oven and ‘guessed’ what’s wrong. Should’ve read these comments before we paid. It’s a rip off.
DO NOT BUY from AEG. Their products are USELESS and there is no after care / warranty. I am going to trading standards as it is bordering on criminal.

Awful products and service – avoid – wish I'd read the reviews on Trust PIlot first and not ordered an oven that I paid to have fitted professionally and does not work, and they have failed to collect for four weeks now! AVOID.

Shocking service
My AEG fridge freezer stopped working just two months after purchase. After I reported the issue, their customer service scheduled an engineer visit for two days later, only to cancel the appointment the evening before due to illness. They can't arrange another engineer and have only offered £75 towards a replacement fridge. To make matters worse, the next available service appointment is 10 days away, and AEG won't cover my shopping costs exceeding £200. Don't be fooled by the hype—AEG is a waste of money and time.
You gotta be kidding , high end lol 😂, 1 oven and now on 2nd tumbledrier, i will never buy another aeg appliance again and will warn others against your products
I have two of these oven but one has the light on when cooking the other one doesn’t
Absolute disgrace of a company’s – my house developer (linden – they are also dreadful!) installed a fridge freezer. Within 3 years it’s broke. I paid for an engineer to look and he said manufacturing fault need to be replaced. Called AEG they wouldn’t accept what I said and said I had to pay for one Their engineers to go out to check their faulty fridge !! He arrived told my tenant it had failed it’s a manufacturing defect. They did not report back to me at all! I have now spent over 3 hours trying to get though to post warranty and Saima has failed to get back to me . AEGs fridge is faulty and yet I am having to go though all this ti get it replaced and get my money back for the engineers visits I have had to pay for . It’s a totally disgrace
Hi AEG, our dishwasher broke down after 5 weeks of use. We have now been 7 weeks without it as your warranty team keep passing up back and forth.

I rang two weeks ago was promised a call back from the UK CRM team nothing received, I need to speak to the head of CRM in the UK – I was originally promised a call back for 28th Sept, still nothing….
Avoid AEG products, we had 2 new ovens when we purchased our new kitchen. The first time we used a grill pan it warped so badly it was rocking when placed on a flat surface, this also happened with the second oven. Both were replaced but exactly the same happened! I now use the grill pan from my previous oven as I regard them as dangerous, you certainly wouldn’t want hot oil in them! AEG refused to replace with better quality pans and had the audacity to say I was using them incorrectly! All the ovens I’ve used over the years have I ever come across this problem, it is simply done to a poorly made product not fit for purpose. Now one of the shelf’s has failed, has basically snapped where the frame joins, now they are refusing to replace that! Basically my ovens are under 2 years old I have unusable grill pans a snapped shelf and to top it off a failed door seal all of which they refuse to rectify. My previous cheap oven of an unknown make from B&q had a far superior quality build , glad I kept its grill pan!! Will never purchase anything AEG or anything from its sister company again!!

Been waiting since December for my dishwasher to be repaired. It’s only 10 months old. Trading standards is my next port of call. Disgraceful service!
Absolutely avoid purchasing from here. Thought I’d try this new brand and order through them. In future all my orders will be going elsewhere. Paid for connection and disconnection of washer. The delivery drivers refused to do all because of a spider, dirt behind the machine etc. even moaning about how heavy the machine was to carry!!! I know this is the courier fault. However, when I called AEG, they were not happy with the service either so offered to pick up my washing machine and refund me???? Well I need a washing machine hence why I have ordered and they took the old one. So currently without a washing machine still and waiting for them to refund the connection fee that wasn’t done. No help whatsoever!
AEG first reported BRAND new coffee machine issue 20th November 23
Potentially it's being repaired 5th Jan 24. (I hold out no hope on this)
(Aprox 46 days (yes I appreciate includes Xmas and weekends)
A very simple part replacement was/ is needed. (Engineers words)
Your coffee machine is intended to be good quality product. (Anything but)
Your service is worse than a refund request at a car boot.

You post a number for appliances that are still in warranty. Could you please tell me the number for appliances that are out of warranty. Thank you. I want (don't faint) to send a thank you message.
Why is it so hard to phone or email you?
AEG. I do not know what is going on with this company are they going down the tubes.
I only ask because,
we bought an AEG fridge last year and it has not worked since May/June this year.
(It is still in warranty).
We are now just moving into November, so that is getting on for six months. That it has not worked!! We have had four visits from an engineer, the fifth is coming up.
We had been told that if the appliance could not be fixed we would get a replacement.
Well it has not been fixed and there is no sign of a replacement.
If you call or write to AEG nothing happens.
So, having tried calling, e-mailing and even got "Resolve " Involved still nothing.
Every communication is greeted with a
" you need to call this number".
Which is the engineers, when you ring the engineers and explain that you have had several visits from them already.
They say you must contact AEG.
And the cycle rolls round again. 🤔😡🤬🤬
So friends, how do I get AEG to respond?
I think my next move may be to engage a Solicitor.
If I do what are the chances of getting my costs back?

PLEASE DO NOT BUY any products from AEG. In last 1.5 years I have called the AEG for fixing 2 of my appliances (WASHER DRYER -L7WE7631B1) & OVEN(BPK556220M) for same problem 4-5 times and engineers who are coming to fix the same says there is some fault with the appliances but we cannot do anything, you have to call AEG. When I call AEG they say they cannot replace the item unless it is not fixed by engineers. Manufacturing warranty for my appliances is getting over in next few months, and since the problem is coming every 2 months that means I have to get additional cover for extending the warranty, which is of no use as I need to wait for many days for their appointment which is useless. They don't help with any replacement or helping customer. Please don't buy AEG products, AEG do not care for their customers.

I migrated away from Bosch following multiple reoccurring issues. The series 9000 tumble dryer has so far been a great machine. Just needed to understand / find more out about the suitability of the special programmes on certain fabrics.

We are incredibly disappointed in the service and quality. We bought a dishwasher, hob, double fan oven and integrated microwave for the kitchen in our new extension. We thought we'd 'treat ourselves' by spending nearly £3000. However, the oven has barely been in use since installation in May. It has a known fault F113 which alledgedly should have been fixed after motherboard replacement. I have come home again today to the fault message!! The microwave has been the same, barely used and only now after 3 engineer visits appears to be working. The most expensive microwave I've ever bought and the most unreliable. We are so upset by this and the poor customer service who told us to go back to the retailer despite being out of their 30 day period! We do not have time to stay in waiting every few weeks for a repair.
I don't really know how you have won this. We are now on our third oven (first one was damaged) but last two have had the same fault and had to be replaced by the retailer. You know there is a fault with this oven and yet you continue to sell them. I am now having to wait for an engineer to come and tell me they know there is a problem and there is nothing we can do about it. Well for an oven worth £1200, I think there should be something you can do!!
Wish I had seen the reviews before by buying my fridge freezer. Been two months without a fridge freezer and 5 different engineer visits and still no fix and now a condemned fridge and the offer of £75 when the fridge is just 3 years old. Two weeks for a complaint to be answered and still no further forward. Definitely deserves the one star on trust pilot
Never buying an Aeg appliance again, my Fridge Freezer died after less than 3 years due to an inherent fault, and all Aeg did was give me the chance to buy a more expensive model. Shocking customer service and product quality.
Why does the combination oven that I purchased still not able to link to WiFi? Or rather it does link up but there is no recipes or suggestions a available (this to me was one of the selling points) also the turbo grill takes forever to heat up, the screen has also refused to work unless I turn it off, and as for the true fan cooking this I do not believe fully works either as it takes the same time as a normal oven and at the same temperature as a normal oven!- it does not like switching from oven to microwave mode as it does not work fully- just disappointed with this product
DO NOT buy anything from AEG. Their customer service is appalling. They and their outsource service partners are atrocious and we are now in the process of escalating our complaint after our induction hob failed after 8 months. We're now 6 weeks into waiting for a repair and are no further forward.

Had 2 Aeg gas cookers one replaced under warranty possibly in only 6 yr period !
Both had same issues oven switching off and now door has fallen off bottom oven requiring replacement door !
On inspection hinge is a peg that fits through a hole in another bracket which over time metal rubs against metal and wears pin and door falls off !
Bad design .
So unfortunately its bye bye AEG for ever !

The worst customer service!!!! New kitchen fitted last October, my AEG hob broke on the 1st June and I am still waiting for it to be repaired!! The engineer that came out has messed us about with not turning up 3 times then lying about what he said to us on the initial visit. We are beyond fed up now as the part apparently was never ordered for repair when he 100% said that the part had been ordered. Coming up to the 3 month mark now, completely unacceptable 😤 I asked for a replacement as I have 2 kids to feed, they said no because it can be repaired… REPAIR IT THEN 😡
I have an induction hob that is 4 months old and has developed a fault which requires an engineer visit.
1. I reported it on the 1st Feb
2. Earliest appointment for an engineer to attend is the 28th Feb
3. Advised by AEG to buy a second hand portable hob in the meantime (not much consideration for safety here)
4. AEG will pay £70 towards the hob, however I have to pay for it first then reclaim it from AEG after the engineer has visited – in a month’s time!! I guess this means there is no guarantee I will get the money’s back.

How do I get in touch to chase a refund? I've been waiting since 25th May when the returned product was delivered to you. I've put a message on the AEG site, I tried calling but there was no answer and it eventually disconnected. Last time I needed help I was on the phone for over 2 hours. How do I chase this up without wasting a huge amount of time? I purchased more than £3,000 of appliances which I love… but trying to get through and get anything done on the phone is just a terrible, terrible experience. Can you help?
Again I am mesaging on here as our oven once again after the motherboards being replaced has the f113 fault, supposedly should have been resolved by this replacement!!! Now my new AEG Dishwasher has stopped working!!! DO NOT buy these appliances!! We have had nothing but trouble with our £4000 of brand new equipment in our new kitchen. Dreadfull company !!! We have left with washer dryer worth £1200 which stopped drying clothes after 10m9nth since buying. They've send engineer who from first visit try to convince us don't doing the washing-drying properly ….yeee suddenly after 10 month we've unlearned it 😅 His second visit was the same. As he couldn't find any issue ( for him) hmmm I do not think he even try, he just replaced control board ( which he told from the beginning it won't fixed problem) and still try to convince this time my partner we do not now hoe to use it properly. Mind blowing customer service !! Today we got an emial saying the claim is closed beacuse '"The engineer noted that the applience have missused and that you are frequently changing the programms". What that even mean? I thought the programms are for different use, right? FYI i used maybe 3 programms overall from. At this point we will forward this case to Ombudsman. We didn't pay £1200 just for washing machine and we have left just with washing machine at this point. NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM AEG !!

Absolutely appalling experience with AEG. We bought a washer and dryer machine, which worked fine for about 3y but then stopped drying. We paid an out of warranty repair and that’s when the disaster started: they couldn’t sort out what the problem was, sent 6 different engineers over 6 months to try fix it, but nothing worked. On the last call, this month, the engineer told us he was going to change the PCB as a last resort after messing around with some sensor, but the part was not in stock, so another visit. 30min after he left, the machine also stopped washing, leaving us with 2 babies without an essential appliance. Countless calls to AEG and Pacifica (their repair contractors) to only say they cannot send anyone to at least try fixing the washer before 2 weeks. As of today, we’re waiting a call from a manager to see what they can do, because an engineer was supposed to come today to have a look, but instead we got a text that our appointment was pushed back again.
Look elsewhere for quality appliances and support.
Just sent them email complaint about my comfortlift dishwasher – which has just stopped working – not happy at all after just 3 years- not expecting much help at all after reading all the reviews and feedback about them. Wishing I had bought another brand now but it was the lifting mechanism that I wanted- shame other brands do not do a similar bit of tech.
well, had a reply from AEG via the messenger page – completely unhelpful and telling me i have to pay for a service engineer if I want dishwasher looked at – and in a nutshell they don't give a toss once the appliance is out of warranty plus 6 weeks, and 3 years is classed as way past that, doesnt matter what product or what price, basically you are on your own and tough s***. I have a Fridge Freezer model SCK8191VTS that is less than 4 years old. Today I had your engineer to repair the unit and he has said it is beyond economical repair. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 a product must last for a reasonable time. A kitchen appliance is deemed a reasonable time as 10 years. If it last less than 6 years it has to be replaced by a new unit. I would like to know if it is for you to replace or is it for the company who sold the item to replace the item.
I’ve had no less than five engineer visits and a lot of dialogue on the phone about my comfort lift dishwasher, which won’t lift at all. To add to this, the basket only comes out half way making it awkward to stack and unload plates etc. This appliance was bought as a means to avoid straining after an operation. Keep getting asked for the serial number etc when AEG already has it. Cost over £800! Can hardly say I’m being impatient after spending five days waiting in for nothing and nearly a year later still not resolved. Upset and disappointed.
I recently purchased a washing machine..during registration i was informed that during the warranty period i would be charged £160 for engineer call out plus extra for parts if anything goes wrong with the washing machine …this is not advertised upfront! Other manufacturers do not charge during warranty period!
Wouldn't ever bother with an AEG appliance again. Fixed dishwasher twice during warranty. But same problem occurs 2 months later and they don't want to know. Won't accept design fault.
This is not looking good for my complaint about comfort lift dishwasher not working after just 3 years!

Hi I really need help! My 5 month old AEG washing machine has EFO error and water leaking it just won’t work. Took ages to get through to team after being cut off managed to speak to someone who said first appointment wasn’t until 4th June, I really can’t be without a washing machine for all that time (it’s already been 5 days) 😭 I’m also worried that I haven’t had any confirmation to say the appointment is booked in. I don’t feel that it is reasonable for AEG to expect me to wait all this time.
Avoid at all costs, 3K fridge freezer just out of warranty, two visits from an engineer, 1st visit just told to defrost and it will be ok, 2nd visit and it’s beyond economical repair, due to insulation fault during manufacturing and now it’s tough, it’s your problem.
An absolute insult of a discount on a replacement appliance which would equate to over £5000 spent on fridge freezers in less than four years.
No refund on the fix price repair. what an absolute joke of an outfit AEG, Electrolux 😡😡😡😡
This is what to expect from AEG -This is in relation to a freezer door handle that snapped off in my hand and purchased from AEGs own website only 23 weeks ago.
Unfortunately The part you received would be a chargeable replacement at this time.
this is because it was fitted around 5 months ago.

So update on my post which prompted a number of you to share similar stories, thank you. 8th engineer visit failed to repair extractor (this has now taken 2 months) offered to replace but when chased today it is out of stock, expected back in stock next week but they can’t tell me when I will get my replacement. Despite sending in 2 complaints via the email they give you and the online contact form I have received no response. Asked for a ‘direct email address’ or telephone number and been refused, they don’t have a number for complaints and the email I have used is the only one! What an absolute shambles. I have written to Watchdog/The One Show and would ask you to do the same so hopefully they pick up the problems and expose them for what they are watchdog@bbc.co.uk

Absolutely fed up with AEG! I have been without a dishwasher since Feb. Under warranty issue and they took so long to sort it out it went out of warranty! Same problem as in warranty and they are saying they can't replace because it is now out of warranty. They told me I can't speak to anyone as managers don't take phone calls. Emailed so many times as managers only respond to emails (they don't!) Promised these imaginary managers would get back to me by customer service staff and nothing. Avoid this company as they do not uphold their warranty agreement! It is not my fault Pacifica they use couldn't fix the warranty issue in a timely manner. Pacifica do not check the appliance is working before they close the job down each time they visit. I will be taking this further!

Had a call last Friday from AEG after posting which reenergised their effort to fix our complaint. However, a call in the afternoon was promised with a path forward. But we are now late Tuesday afternoon and still no follow up. So three months after saying our extractor isn’t working- after just over a year of use we don’t have a working extractor and still no phone number I can call directly- just people they subcontract to- and we are they have no power to take action. Ridiculous after sales support from AEG. 3 months and 4 visits- someone should just make a decision and install a replacement. 😫😤😭

No info on this subject, only by chance when I tried to chase my order up I’ve learned that although you took the money, you have none in stock! When asked when it will be restocked then – no info, no delivery date in sight! Getting through to the CS team – impossible! This bloody Freya redirecting all the calls to spare parts department who know nothing about new appliances. Mess, huge mess. Poor communication, poor service, poor company! 🤬
The worst customer service ever! It is super hard to get in touch with customer service and I feel like I am being fobbed off. I cannot get a tracking number for my supposed toaster replacement that I have been waiting for 2 months. They are ridiculous to deal with. My toaster has been used about 7 times and then handle suddenly won’t work or stay down. I am in warranty with over a year left. And this is what I get.. a fake promise of replacement that was never ever sent!! Dodgy scam company with badly built products! Avoid at all costs!
Brand new microwave, breaks after 5 months. This was in February. They have sent 2 different companies to repair it (6 different times). They repair it and breaks again within days or week. Since February we have only had a working microwave for 4/5 weeks overall. They refuse to replace it. With a 2 year old and a new baby arriving in 4 weeks they are making our lives miserable 😭 please, we need HELP!
Absolutely appalled at AEG. Bought an integrated washer dryer machine before Easter. When the technician fit it three weeks later he damaged my kitchen integrated units by drilling into the front of the gloss panel to pull it out leaving unsightly marks! He also used old cables instead of new ones and the installation was appalling. To top it off the machine was faulty and AEG couldn’t get another one to us for nearly a further month so we had to order one from a different provider. They picked up the faulty machine a week later and a further three weeks after we are still awaiting our refund. It’s been promised numerous times and still not materialised. No apology for damaging the units either from them or their fitters. Shocking customer service and will never buy from them again. Just want our money back!

My dryer doesn’t do what you say, it decides itself if it wants to dry my clothes or just keep turning off. AEG aren’t interested in putting right, they don’t believe me and the engineer just upped the heat settings! Waste of money.
Would never ever buy or recommend AEG we have nearly had our house burnt down after the combi oven ( 3 years old ) set on fire and was so hot the element was white and was spitting out bits of metal like it was being welded.. had to wait for someone to look at it .. absolutely useless said well that can’t be repaired ..OBVIOUSLY!! Now not heard anything else .. on top of this a few months ago my AEG fridge leaked causing 9k worth of damage which I’ve only just got repaired and last year the same oven that has now set on fire had the whole glass door explode on my teenager .. I’m now looking at taking legal action as I’ve not had any response to this last incident and wish I’d reported the fridge also as it’s clearly a major problem with AEG products.
The products themselves are good but the customer service from AEG is absolutely shambolic. Engineers who didn't carry out any fault finding, just replaced gas, AEG in warranty staff replacing my faulty product with a different model despite them having all the necessary details, in all, more than 2 months to get the issued resolved. Nobody answers emails, the call handlers use WhatsApp to discuss customer issues with line managers, calls are never returned. I would never buy from AEG/Electrolux again. Unfortunately I had all AEG appliances fitted in my kitchen but will be chucking them as and when they fail rather than going through warranty again. A truly awful experience.

Had a engineer appointment booked for 1 September, he didn’t visit me but instead diagnosed the problem over the phone and booked a appointment to fit the new part a week later.
The engineer claimed that he fixed the problem today and left my property only for me to find it’s still not working!
Been told I have to wait another week for someone else to come and look at the machine, so that will be 3 weeks without a washing machine!!!
Not ideal with a family of 6 that requires clean school clothes!
Come on AEG get your act together these machines are not fit for purpose and you are charging top money for them

Worst customer service ever!! Been waiting since June for them to fix our dishwasher!! It's September now! They took the payment no problem though. Absolute joke. No replies to any emails or anything! Appalling.
Oh I'm looking to have aeg in my new kitchen but the products I'm looking at are not available on web site how do i know when back in stock?
I would NEVER buy AEG products again and would never recommend them to anyone. We had a new kitchen in 2016 with all AEG products. We've had to replace the washing maching; the microwave was repaired twice before finally giving up the ghost; the oven has been repaired; now, a spring on the dishwasher has gone so the door drops down (great when you have two young children!) and the induction hob has just started playing up. Absolute disgrace with what they charge that their products don't last any longer than a couple of years.
Funny this advert as I bought one direct end of Nov 2022. Still no sign of it. No one helps and just says we will sort it.
E mailed the CEO as I think the boss should know how BAD company is.
AEG broke my induction hob during a repair in July and still refuse to take any responsibility. It's still not resolved. keep calling and getting "disconnected" or put on hold until the customer services dept. closes.

2 out of 4 kitchen appliances broken within 2.5 years of purchasing. After multiple chats with customer service, I have not even got the energy to go into why this company and products are so bad. Have a quick look at Trust Pilot. 316 reviews and 93% are a 1 star. Anyone would be crazy to buy anything from this company after reading these reviews.
Absolute disgrace of a company paid £819 for a cooker in February 2021 ( same one for sale today at £1119 ) 5 year warranty third time in 3 weeks it's broken down engineer came yesterday for it to break again the same evening – reported and wait till next Thursday for another engineer visit will have been unable to cook a meal properly now for 4 weeks ! Still won't agree to replace constant messing and not sorting the problem how are we supposed to have a Christmas when can't even cook a quick meal !! AVOID !!!

THIS IS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH, AEG! Am I to be one of those who slags your company off (as I have seen all over the web), or can you redeem yourselves in my eyes? We installed a new kitchen as part of our home renovation just over two years ago – including a pricey, integrated AEG fridge freezer. This ran out of warranty in June of this year and, lo and behold, it stopped working completely, yesterday. A friend in the know said that one of the pipes has burst (we can see the plastic has blown up like a bubble on the back wall at the top of the fridge), and we are told that it's pointless signing up for an AEG 'Repair and Care' plan, as any repair on this problem won't last and it will only fail again. So, we now have a useless fridge freezer, in an aperture that will only take that exact size of appliance so therefore, no option than to replace like for like. Argghhh! Impossible to talk to anyone, get sent around the houses and even when the live-chat gave me a number to call to book on the rip-off 'Repair and Care' service – nobody answered! We deserve more as consumers! AEG – HOW DO YOU INTEND TO HELP US? I shall take to Twitter too and write to your Chief Exec in the strongest possible terms.

Absolutely nightmare never again will I buy or recommend AEG products fridge freezer is four months old and the fridge does not work have had to throw so much good food ,they refuse to replace it they want to repair it it’s four months old just give me one that works correctly by the sounds of it I think I did the wrong thing thinking these are quality products as clearly they are not why supply products that clearly have issues just a bit of honesty would be good.shame on you.

AEG first reported BRAND new coffee machine issue 20th November 23
Potentially it's being repaired 5th Jan 24. (I hold out no hope on this)

My toaster has been used about 7 times and then handle suddenly won’t work or stay down. I am in warranty with over a year left. And this is what I get.. a fake promise of replacement that was never ever sent!! Dodgy scam company with badly built products! Avoid at all costs!
