Electrolux has been included in the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) for 2013, maintaining its position as Industry Leader in the Household Durables category for the seventh consecutive year*.
In this annual assessment, published by RobecoSAM, Electrolux was also included in DJSI Europe.

Electrolux earlier this year conducted consumer research in six countries, to measure sustainability priorities, how they rate these issues in the context of appliance purchases and their perception of Electrolux. The study shows that two thirds of consumers consider the environmental impact of an appliance to be important when making a purchase decision. DJSI World includes the 10% best-in-class economic, environmental and social performers among the world’s 2,500 largest companies.
