Electrolux today announced a strategic partnership in Asia Pacific with the smart recipe platform SideChef, which will power a new digital taste platform offered by Electrolux to consumers in the region. The partnership will allow Electrolux and SideChef to pioneer innovations for the future of cooking.
The new platform will be launched with the all-new Electrolux Life app, which will serve as a digital hub for Asian consumers – making it easier to cook, care for their clothes, setup and manage connected appliances, or to simply get in touch with the consumer care team. Consumers who access ‘Recipe Finder Powered by SideChef’ within the Electrolux Life app will get access to thousands of global recipes from SideChef’s database, step-by-step video and photo guidance, voice assisted cooking and much more.
Using the latest technology to simplify and personalize the consumer cooking journey through assisted cooking, new services and partnerships is a growing area of interest for Electrolux. Earlier this year, Electrolux announced a strategic partnership in Europe with the eating technology company Innit, where Electrolux products will work seamlessly with Innit’s online platform to help European consumers throughout the cooking journey, from inspiration to shopping and cooking.
