As the chosen supplier to almost 50% of Michelin-starred restaurants in Europe, Electrolux has unique insight into the requirements of some of the most demanding kitchens in the world.
With this knowledge, Electrolux now further strengthens the offering for domestic kitchen users by introducing a set of cooking pans and accessories inspired by and created together with professional chefs.
This first line of cookware under the Electrolux brand complements the current range of accessories with a collection that combines appealing aesthetics with clever functional components. From the volume bar within pots to show exact measurements, the integrated steamer within a steamer to steam ingredients with different cooking times, to large ergonomic handles, each part of the collection offers optimal performance.
“The Electrolux Infinite Chef Collection is designed to harness the power and precision of induction technology to bring out the best from ingredients,” said Laura Morello, Director Consumables & Accessories, Major Appliances EMEA. “We‘ve put the insider knowledge we’ve gained working with professional chefs for more than 90 years into practice; each part of the range has been developed to cook a specific dish or type of food, and used together with induction technology delivers perfect even cooking.”
The Electrolux Infinite Chef Collection offers five layers of materials:
1: a magnetic steel exterior – superior induction performance and easy to clean.
2: three layers of aluminium (an excellent heat conductor, 14 times faster than stainless steel) in the middle of all cooking vessels, capped with an alloy inner.
3: the 18/10 stainless steel interior is hygienic, easy to clean and resistant to corrosion
Whilst the unique multi-layer material was specifically developed for optimal induction-hob performance, the range works well on other hob types too. The materials are combined to ensure the heat is spread over the whole surface, even on the sides, for uniformed and controlled cooking. Fully flat bases offer adherence to the hob surface and maximum efficiency in heat transfer. Additionally the range is dishwasher and oven safe; cookware can be used in the oven up to 250°C. Stainless steel lids seal each pot, preventing evaporation of moisture from ingredients, whilst the range is stackable to optimize space.
The Electrolux Infinite Chef Collection will be available to consumers from spring 2014. It includes a frying pan, a low casserole pot, a conical sauté and accessory colander, a saucepan and a stockpot and accessory double steam basket and pasta set.
