Electrolux is selling a manufacturing facility for stainless steel counters and dishwasher accessories to SteelTech AB.
The divested facility, located in Malmö, has some 80 employees and is part of the Electrolux Group’s business sector for professional appliances. The divestment is part of the restructuring of the business sector.
SteelTech AB is a manufacturer of stainless steel equipment. SteelTech AB acquired parts of Electrolux’s manufacturing of professional kitchen equipment in Alingsås in 1998, and has since been a supplier of such products to the Group. In connection with the sale of the Malmö facility SteelTech AB and Electrolux have entered into a supply agreement also for products manufactured in Malmö.
