AEG crowned winners at Which? Awards 2023

AEG has been named Large Kitchen Appliance Brand of the Year at the Which? Awards 2023.

Following a process of rigorous product testing, design assessments and customer satisfaction surveys, AEG has been recognised for providing consistently innovative and durable products alongside an excellent level of customer service.

In particular, the experts on the Which? Awards judging panel commended AEG for its particular attention to the sustainable credentials of products. In achieving this award, AEG emerged on top against other shortlisted brands, including Bosch, LG, Miele and previous 2022 winner, Samsung.

Anabel Hoult, Which? Chief Executive, said: “The Which? Awards judging standards are incredibly high, so to be named as a winner is a huge achievement – something only given to the best of the best.

“AEG is another newcomer to the Which? Awards winners circle but it’s thoroughly deserved due to the number of high-scoring products it provides for a range of budgets. AEG has also made improvements in the sustainability of its products, earning itself several Which? Eco Buys in the past year.”

Chris George, Head of Marketing, UK & Ireland at Electrolux, said: “At AEG, we continually strive to produce appliances of the highest quality, specifically tailored to meet consumer needs. Across our broad range of kitchen appliances, from ovens, fridge freezers and dish washers, Which? has recognised this unparalleled commitment to customer satisfaction and product innovation.

“We are delighted to win this award, which continues to highlight our commitment to delivering premium products that offer creative solutions to real consumer problems. In particular, we’re pleased the judging panel drew attention towards the sustainability features of our appliances as we continue to place this factor at the forefront of our product design.”

Earlier this year, AEG announced the launch of its new Laundry product range, replacing the existing range of AEG appliances which were launched in 2016. With a sleek new design and new care and connectivity features, the collection includes washing machines and tumble dryers. The brand’s ‘Challenge the Expected‘ campaign has served to redefine consumer expectations in line with the innovative features of AEG’s new care range, including ProSteam®, an energy and water saving alternative to washing clothes.
