Electrolux Group today requested that owners of certain Frigidaire gas ranges contact the company to schedule a service call to remedy the issue addressed in the recall. Consumers can verify if their Frigidaire gas range is affected by checking www.GasOvenBurnerRecall.com.
The reason for the recall is an issue with a limited number of Frigidaire gas ranges that causes delayed ignition of oven bake burners with the potential for burn risk.
“Consumer safety is our top priority, and we take this matter very seriously,” said Electrolux Group North America Product Safety Director Chad Strickland. “We have decided to voluntarily recall these affected ranges in partnership with the CPSC and Health Canada and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.”

Check www.GasOvenBurnerRecall.com to see if both your model and serial number are on the affected range list. Both numbers can be found in the drawer beneath the oven.

If it is on the affected list, consumers should stop using the oven until service has been performed and the remedy addressing the recall is completed. The cooktop burners can continue to be used.

If it is on the affected list, consumers can order a replacement oven bake burner and schedule service to receive professional installation of the replacement oven bake burner, free of charge, at www.GasOvenBurnerRecall.com.
Please note: Products with other serial numbers within the Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery, Frigidaire Professional and Electrolux lines are not affected.
