Electrolux Group Donates Refrigerators to Tennessee Community Recovering from Hurricane Helene

Company supports community rebuilding from the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene.

Charlotte, NC, April 9, 2025 – Electrolux Group recently donated two tractor trailers full of Frigidaire refrigerators valued at nearly $50,000 to residents in Cocke County, Tennessee, a community rebuilding from the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene.

Electrolux Group is dedicated to assisting the communities impacted in the region and Cocke County is in close proximity to the company’s North American headquarters in Charlotte, its Parts Distribution Center in Fletcher, NC, and production facilities in Springfield, TN and Anderson, SC.

The company partnered with Bread Basket, a nonprofit division of Central Charities of Newport and Cocke County, to identify and distribute the appliances to community members in need.

Electrolux Group has been operating in Tennessee for more than 50 years, providing consumers with innovative cooking products under the Electrolux and Frigidaire brands.
