Premium appliance brand AEG has received a 5* Reliability rating from Which? for its entire hob portfolio. The accolade covers AEG’s induction, extractor, ceramic and gas hobs, reflecting consistently strong results in independent testing and real-world consumer use. The recognition also reinforces the brand’s reputation for delivering dependable performance and long-lasting quality.
The rating follows detailed analysis by Which? of customer feedback, fault rates and long-term reliability data. This process highlighted the strong reliability performance demonstrated across AEG’s hob range.
A highlight in AEG’s Hob range is the new SaphirMatt® range of induction hobs, launched earlier this year, which quickly gained momentum among consumers looking for high performance, refined design and dependable everyday use.
Key models within AEG’s hob category are SaphirMatt® finish models like the AEG 6000 Induction Hob and 8000 Induction Hob, which have superior scratch-resistant glass designed to retain a premium appearance through everyday use, as well as Active Touch slider controls and responsive induction zones that enable fast, precise and intuitive cooking.
Jeroen Van der Laan, Head of Product Line Taste UK & Benelux, says: “We’re incredibly proud to see AEG hobs acknowledged for their reliability. Our teams are dedicated to creating appliances that not only perform and offer lasting quality in real homes, but that also integrate seamlessly into modern kitchen environments. This 5* Reliability rating reinforces our commitment to developing products customers can depend on every day.”
The recognition also spans AEG’s ceramic, gas and extractor hobs, including the 6000 Induction with Extractor Hob. Each product line is engineered with durable materials, smart functionality and user-focused technology to support consistent performance in busy kitchens.
