Electrolux Group has been recognized for the fourth year in a row among Europe’s Climate Leaders 2026, placing it within a select group of the top-performing companies driving measurable climate action across the region.
Compiled by the Financial Times in collaboration with Statista, CDP and the Science Based Targets initiative, the ranking highlights 600 companies that demonstrate strong progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and advancing climate-related commitments.
The selection is based on rigorous and transparent criteria, with particular emphasis on reducing carbon emissions in operations (Scope 1 and Scope 2) between 2019 and 2024. These factors together account for the majority of the score, complemented by additional indicators such as CDP ratings and alignment with science-based targets to drive down emissions, for both operations and products, in line with the Paris Agreement. Only companies showing consistent and verified improvements in their climate performance are included, underscoring the credibility of the ranking.
Electrolux Group’s inclusion reflects its continued focus on driving sustainability across its operations, products and value chain. Being named among Europe’s Climate Leaders for the fourth consecutive year highlights the Group’s continued ambition to lead in climate action and contribute meaningfully to the transition toward a low-carbon economy, while maintaining its commitment to shaping living for the better.
In 2025, Electrolux Group reported a 45% carbon emissions reduction in operations and 33% carbon emissions reduction for products compared to 2021, showing strong progress towards its 2030 science-based targets.
