Electrolux launches female mentorship initiative Electrolux 100 Women

Electrolux is today launching Electrolux 100 Women, a mentorship initiative that aims to inspire women in their careers by providing them with the opportunity to learn from role models.

Launching at the Women in Tech conference in Stockholm on International Women’s Day, the initiative offers 100 of the 1,500 women attending the event the chance to sign up to be mentored by a select number of inspiring female leaders both from Electrolux and the wider industry.

The pilot is currently available to women in Sweden with the goal of rolling out to other markets during the year.

“As we celebrate our 100 year anniversary this year, we’re passionate to use our platform to inspire women in their careers. Everyone can benefit from having a mentor and we hope through connecting people, the Electrolux 100 Women initiative can help inspire more women to believe in themselves and pursue the career they want”, says JP Iversen, Chief Information Officer, Electrolux Group.

The 100 mentees will be invited to Electrolux headquarters in Stockholm in late spring to take part in a speed mentoring session, at which they can ask quick-fire questions to their mentors for 100 minutes. The event also provides a unique networking opportunity, with the Women at Electrolux (WE) members being invited to attend.

Electrolux is one of the sponsors at the Women In Tech event and is also hosting a user experience break-out session hosted by Digital Innovation Director Tove Chevalley and Chief Design Officer Pernilla Johansson.
