Electrolux connects a century of focus on consumer experiences at IFA 2019

Electrolux showcases the latest innovative solutions for the home from its AEG brand at IFA, the world’s leading trade fair for home appliances and consumer electronics.

“For the past 100 years, Electrolux has improved the home lives of millions of people around the world. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s more important than ever to offer outstanding experiences based on new technology and innovations that make people’s lives better and more enjoyable”, says Anna Ohlsson-Leijon, CEO Business Area Europe at Electrolux.

Within kitchen, Electrolux will demonstrate how it is expanding its ecosystem of connected products that are seamlessly integrated also with key partners. “Through our offering we want to help consumers to cook better at home, assisting them throughout the entire cooking journey so that ultimately, they can enjoy great tasting food with their families and friends”, adds Ohlsson-Leijon.

Highlights include the AEG Design Line fridge with the new Smarter FridgeCam™ which enables the user to see what is in their fridge wherever they are, making grocery shopping more convenient and minimizing food waste. Another highlight is the new AEG 9000 CookView® oven with Steamify®. The oven sets the precise steam level providing the confidence to cook with steam for tastier and more nutritious meals at home. For optimal user convenience its innovative CookView® camera in the handle keeps an eye on the food as it cooks, giving a connected view delivered to the My AEG app. The new oven also supports voice control.

To further simplify and personalize the cooking experience, Electrolux is also expanding its partnership with SideChef beyond Asia Pacific with a new AEG SideChef partnership in Europe at the end of 2019.

In laundry, Electrolux is highlighting the latest connected solutions – the AEG 9000 Premium Edition washer and dryer pair offer matching programs. This means that washing and drying cycles are synchronized automatically when starting the laundry, making the entire process more effortless as clothes then don’t need to be sorted before drying. Through the connectivity feature, users can remotely check the progress of their laundry on their mobile devices.

Meanwhile the new AEG QX9 stick vacuum cleaner is AEG’s most stylish and silent cordless stick vacuum cleaner ever. Inspired by premium home interiors, the QX9 is designed to fit seamlessly into the modern urban home.

Electrolux innovations are being showcased at IFA Berlin 2019 from 6-12 September in the AEG booth – Hall 4.1, Stand 101. A press conference will be held at the booth on 5 September between 1-2pm and will be streamed live under this link: www.cs-comsolution.com/eluxlive
