The Electrolux Group’s latest range of laundry products under the AEG brand has scored numerous “Best in Test” and “Best Buy” accolades across Europe. The washing machines and tumble dryers were developed to address consumer concerns about washing and drying delicate garments, with a focus on technology that protects fabrics and extends the durability of clothes.
“We have combined a consumer insight driven approach with a scientific one to deliver product experiences that extend beyond cleaning, to revolutionize the way in which we care for clothes; by protecting their fibers, colors and textures,” says Betsy Salas, Product Marketing Director within Electrolux business area Major Appliances EMEA.
The washing machines were praised by consumer publications in Belgium (Test Achat), Italy (Altroconsumo), Netherlands (Consumentengids), Spain (Ocu Compra) and UK (Which Magazine) within 2017 test result publishing.
The range maintains colors and textures while protecting fibers and features ‘SoftWater Technology’ – a world-first innovation that purifies water for unrivalled cleaning results at 30º Celsius. Accolades for the AEG tumble dryer range, with technology that makes it safe to tumble dry woolen garments, also included Germany (Haushalt und Garten,Test/StiWa).
“We think that it’s time to restore confidence in washing machines and tumble dryers. This recognition from prestigious test publications shows that we are moving in the right direction,” Salas says.
