During 2025, Electrolux Group proudly received a number of recognitions worldwide from third-party consumer-testing associations and consumers for product performance, quality, and durability. Here are some highlights from around the world that reflect why we are a leading appliance company for consumers.
Europe:
- StiWa (Germany): Earlier this year, our premium AEG brand hit a record that no other home appliance brand had achieved – reaching seven wins in laundry within two years from Stiftung Warentest, Germany’s most trusted independent consumer testing authority. Read more here.
- Most Durable (France): Our products were also ranked among the most durable by major European retailer Darty in their latest industry benchmark, with first-place wins in washing machines, washer dryers, ovens and air conditioners. Darty’s evaluation is based on data from 1.8 million repairs done by its own network and manufacturer data, reflecting honest consumer feedback and trust.
- Top brands (Italy): Electrolux and AEG are confirmed among the favorites of Italians in ten categories in the first edition of Italy’s Top Brands – Home & kitchen 2026. Electrolux and AEG are in first place in the air fryers and microwave oven categories. The survey was carried out by Corriere della Sera and Statista on the basis of more than 7,000 customers interviewed and 23,000 total evaluations collected on values such as brand attractiveness, quality, longevity and durability, design, price/performance ratio, functionality, environment and sustainability. - Top Quality-Price (Italy): Electrolux was recognized as a “Top Quality-Price” brand in both Air Purifiers and Major Appliances categories by Europe’s leader in quality tests and seals, the German Institute for Quality and Finance (ITQF) and published by Italian business publication Affari & Finanza. The ranking included companies that achieved the highest score in the quality-to-price ratio, based on over 750,000 consumers evaluations of 1,311 companies across 123 sectors.
- Best Buy (Italy): Italian consumer association Altroconsumo awarded three Electrolux products (dryer, induction hob and built-in fridge freezer) and one AEG product (washer-dryer) with ‘best buy’ – and named AEG as the most satisfying and reliable brand in the corded vacuum cleaner category.
- Home Appliance Product of the Year (Scandinavia ): The Electrolux MealAssist oven with AI TasteAssist scored a double win in Scandinavia — Home Appliance Product of the Year. In Denmark, the recognition came from Applia Denmark and its retail partners. In Norway, the award was presented by Elektronikkbransjen, the country’s trade association for consumer electronics and home appliances, together with leading retailers. It’s the second year in a row Electrolux Group has taken home Norway’s top honor, after last year’s win for the Saphir Matt hob.
- Best in Test (Netherlands): Electrolux celebrated a triple triumph at Consumentenbond 2025, with three PowerCare and AbsoluteCare washing machines winning Best in Test awards for performance, innovation and value. Consumentenbond is the leading Dutch consumer association, known for its independent product tests and trusted reviews.
- Best in Test, Best Buy (UK): AEG’s heat pump dryer (model TR838A4OB) has been honored by the UK’s consumer association Which? with not one, but three awards: Best in Test, Best Buy, as well as Eco Buy, reaching an outstanding score of 81%. The machine ranked in first place, surpassing our major competitors.
North America:
- Best Brand: Nonprofit consumer organization Consumer Reports — dedicated to independent product testing – named Frigidaire as the best brand for Electric and Induction Cooktops for top owner satisfaction scores and strong predicted reliability grades. Several models from the Frigidaire Gallery lineup were specifically called out, receiving top marks of 95 and 96 (out of 100), respectively. Read more here.
- Best Vacuum Cleaner Brand: Meanwhile, our Electrolux brand claimed the number two spot on Newsweek’s Best Vacuum Cleaner Brand list, thanks to the readers who voted it a top choice in floorcare.
Latin America:
- TIME Magazine World’s Best Brand (Brazil): The Electrolux brand is named in Time Magazine’s World’s Best Brands ranking for 2025 (Brazil edition). Electrolux secured the number one position in three categories: Air Fryers, Refrigerators, and Vacuum Cleaners, also achieving second place in the Washing Machine category. The rankings are based on independent consumer surveys measuring brand awareness, social buzz, likability, usage, and loyalty.
- Most Desired Brand (Brazil): Electrolux has also been named by Canal Tech Award as the Most Desired brand in small domestic appliance segment in Brazil, following a public vote and external expert evaluation. Canal Tech recognizes best brands, products, and services.
- Top preferred brand of Gen Z (Brazil): In Brazil, Electrolux made the list of the 15 most preferred brands by Gen Z (AB class), ranking in 12th place. The study was conducted by global brand agency VML Brazil using the BAV (Brand Asset Valuator) methodology, analyzing 1,500 brands, with input from 18,000 respondents. Favored brands stood out for uniting innovation with reliability.
