Electrolux has once again been recognized for its outstanding design, picking up two prestigious Good Design Awards for the LuxCare washing machine adaptive dispenser and Electrolux Professional’s luxury cuisine range Molteni Caractére.
“We’re committed to designing products that enhance the consumer experience and shape living for the better. We’re honored to be recognized by Good Design for this work,” says Pernilla Johansson, Chief Design Officer.
Founded in 1950, Good Design remains the oldest and most prestigious global awards program for design excellence and design innovation. Thousands of submissions were entered for 2018 from over 47 countries.

LuxCare washing machine adaptive dispenser
The adaptive dispenser is the world’s first adaptive dispenser designed to accept pods (water-soluble pouches), ensuring the “ultimate clean” no matter what type of detergent you prefer.
This is the second Good Design Award for LuxCare – the exterior design of the washer was also recognized by Good Design in 2016.
Molteni Caractère
The Molteni Caractère launched in 2017 to usher in a new era of luxury cuisine that blends cooking heritage with contemporary design, while still meeting high demands of celebrated chefs.
