Electrolux top chefs engage with consumers around the world at Taste Festivals

During 2015, Electrolux sponsors and co-hosts Taste Festivals across Europe, Middle East and Australia. The festivals are a chance for consumers to taste food, cook on the latest appliances and engage directly with some of the best chefs in the world.

Electrolux sponsors the Taste Festivals under the Electrolux and AEG brands. At the festivals, visitors participate in interactive cooking classes. The Electrolux Taste Theater hosts demonstrations from a selection of the world’s best chefs, who use Electrolux Professional kitchens in their restaurants.

Taste is the world’s greatest restaurant festival. Electrolux is one of two main sponsors of the festivals, which take place in 22 major cities around the world during 2015. In each city, the local restaurants show their skills and visitors get a chance to taste, cook and interact with the top chefs, many of them having Electrolux Professional products in their kitchens.

“The Taste Festivals are an opportunity for Electrolux to showcase the latest kitchen products, including the CombiSteam ovens and induction hobs, to consumers”, says Jennifer Langenreither, PR & Events Director, Electrolux Major Appliances Europe. “We engage directly with thousands of consumers at each festival.”

“During the Festivals our partner chefs give hints, tips and techniques to get the most from seasonal foods that we see are popular through search engine analysis and marry this to the role of specific appliances such as steam or induction.”

As a part of social media activation, visitors to the Taste Festivals are also invited to share their personal ‘Secret Ingredient’ for cooking through collaborative social media activity and contribute to the conversation by sharing their own kitchen tips.

During 2015, Taste Festivals have been arranged in Amsterdam, Cape Town, Dubai, Dublin, Helsinki, Milan, Moscow, Paris, Sydney and Perth.
