Electrolux has signed an agreement in principle to sell the business within Electrolux Plastcenter AB to the Swedish company Vätterledens Invest AB.
Electrolux Plastcenter has an annual sale of approximately SEK 125 million, and employs 120 people. The business, which includes manufacture of plastic parts, is done mainly for Electrolux. The Electrolux Plastcenter business is located in Motala, Sweden, adjoining the Electrolux factory in Motala.
Vätterledens Invest AB owns several businesses, including other plastics factories, such as Rune Ask AB, Euroform AB Thuressons Marketing AB and AB Verktygsmekano.
The divestiture of Electrolux Plastcenter’s business, is part of Electrolux strategy to concentrate on its core businesses. It is expected that the new business will continue to supply products to Electrolux.
