Electrolux receives Gold Class Award in global sustainability ranking

For the fourth year running, Electrolux has won the Gold Class Award in RobecoSAM’s Sustainability Yearbook and is this year the only company receiving Gold in the Household Durables category.

The Sustainability Yearbook is an annual rating of the sustainability performance among the world’s largest companies. A record 2,686 companies from around the world took part in the SAM Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) for 2018.

We are committed to shape living for the better for millions of people around the world and are now striving to improve our performance further with approved science-based targets, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from operations by 80% and its emissions from products by 25% by 2025”, said Henrik Sundström, Vice President Sustainability at Electrolux.

Earlier this year, Electrolux was named in the Global 100 ranking of the world’s most sustainable companies and, for the third year in a row, the CDP Climate Change A List. Last fall Electrolux was named Industry Leader in the Household Durables category in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) for the twelfth consecutive year.
