A new Electrolux Taste Center was recently opened in Bangkok to showcase the latest appliances from Electrolux – including the world’s first connected steam oven.
Housed at Electrolux’s East Asia head office in Bangkok, it is a space where consumers, trade partners and employees will be invited to participate in taste activities such as cooking demos and shows, to see premium Electrolux appliances in action.
“We are delighted to welcome food enthusiasts from Thailand and East Asia to the Electrolux Taste Center. The opening of the Center is in line with ‘Thailand 4.0’ – the nation’s development model aimed to promote Thailand as a hub of innovation and technology. We hope that the Center will inspire our guests by offering a fun and professional cooking experience,” says Ratchata Sutthapattanont, General Manager of Electrolux Thailand.
The opening ceremony of the Taste Centre in Bangkok – the first of its kind in Asia for Electrolux – was graciously presided over by HRH Princess Soamsawali of Thailand.
The event was also attended by local TV celebrities including chef and judge on the popular show ‘Iron Chef Thailand’ Nateampai Sarakosass (a.k.a. ‘Chef Nate’) who mastered cooking challenges with the help of Electrolux appliances.
