Electrolux Group launches STEM:FEM and donates 100 mentorship hours to STEM students

Today on International Women’s Day (March 8), Electrolux Group launches mentorship program STEM:FEM and will donate 100 hours of mentoring to STEM students throughout 2023.

Future-proofing businesses within the technology and innovation fields means investing in today’s STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) students. The new mentorship program aims to support and inspire students as they take the first steps in their careers.

STEM:FEM is looking for a total of 20 STEM students from across the globe, who are possibly interested in a career in IT, digitalization, innovation, engineering or design. They will then be paired with a mentor from Electrolux Group who complements their interest, with each mentee receiving five hours of mentorship throughout 2023.

“I’m excited this International Women’s day to launch the STEM:FEM mentoring program, and use the Electrolux Group platform to drive positive change. We want to support the next generation of female-identifying jobseekers by building bridges and relationships, and inspire them to build a career that’s right for them,” says Branham Anamon, Electrolux Group Head of Diversity and Inclusion.
