Electrolux Care Label Project in spotlight in Berlin

Experts from the fashion industry and media gathered at a sustainable fashion event in Berlin to create awareness around the AEG Care Label Project and the new AEG laundry range – the first in a series of fashion and networking “FAB Talk” events to be hosted by Electrolux across Germany.

Under the theme “wool, silk and little black”, fashion professionals and designers met to discuss sustainable laundry care at the Ellington Hotel in Berlin on 4 April.

“A piece of clothing should remain with us forever. We determine the longevity of our clothes through the materials we buy and how we care for them. It is time to get rid of our old laundry habits and to think about how best to look after our garments,” says Berlin-based designer Tim Labenda, who is part of the Care Label Project.

The Care Label Project was launched globally on 21 March by the AEG brand to encourage more sustainable clothing care habits. Sustainability is at the core of the Electrolux business strategy, and this campaign supports the company’s sustainability framework, For the Better.

The next FAB Talks are planned for Hamburg in May and Munich in June.
