Electrolux awarded “Best Annual Report” in the world

The Electrolux Annual Report for 2007 was ranked number one in the latest edition of the “Annual Report on Annual Reports” by Report Watch. Overall, 500 international listed companies were included in the ranking. The report is the only survey that ranks annual reports on a global basis.

When conducting the evaluation, Report Watch takes a representative cross-section of annual reports based on the relative importance of stock markets, aiming at industrial and geographic diversity.

A+ and first rate
The annual reports are scored for 10 criteria: packaging, highlights, strategy, business, financials, investors, governance, accounting, responsibility, communication. Of all the reports, Electrolux received the most points and received an A+ first-rate ranking. The Electrolux annual report also received notable mention for its presentation of branding, historical data, business at a glance, share info, and two- or plus-book management.

“We are very pleased with this excellent ranking,” says Peter Nyquist, head of Investor Relations. “Each year we strive to communicate our results and strategy in a clear and innovative way. And it’s rewarding to receive external recognition for it.”
