Electrolux acquires US landscape maintenance equipment manufacturer

Husqvarna, member of the Electrolux Group, has
acquired the turf care assets of Yazoo-Kees, a North American manufacturer and
distributor of landscape maintenance equipment.

The turf care business of Yazoo-Kees, with sales of
approximately USD 20 million, is located in Beatrice, Nebraska. The business
employs approximately 100 people there. The business will be immediately
integrated into Husqvarna’s US operations.

“Husqvarna already offers a wide range of portable
landscape maintenance equipment and the acquisition of this business, with its
line of riding equipment and lawnmowers, will give Husqvarna a stronger
position in this expanding market,” says CEO of Husqvarna, Bengt Andersson.
