March 8, 2026, marked International Women’s Day — a day which has been celebrated for over 100 years. Each year, it is an opportunity to recognize the social, economic, cultural and political achievements and advancements in society of women worldwide.
This year, we at Electrolux Group would like to take a moment to recognize the incredible contributions of women across Electrolux Group and reaffirm our commitment to building an inclusive workplace for everyone.
Almost one-third of our people leaders are women
Today, women represent 40% (16,355) of our 40,917 colleagues worldwide. At the end of 2025, 1,142 women were serving in people-leader roles — meaning 30.3% of our leaders are women, up from 26% in 2020.
Women also make up 37% of all science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)-related positions at the Group. They bring their talent, ambition, and leadership across the Group.
Our journey continues with an aspirational target to reach a gender balance of 40-60% in people-leader roles by 2030. Strengthening inclusion is about bringing diverse perspectives that represent our consumers, creating fair opportunities for career advancement. Most importantly, it’s about ensuring that qualified employees, no matter their gender or characteristics, have the same leadership opportunities.
