Electrolux Group has reached two major sustainability milestones: 25 consecutive years of participation in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) and inclusion in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026.
The CSA, developed by S&P Global, underpins the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices and is one of the world’s leading ESG performance frameworks used by investors worldwide. It evaluates how companies manage sustainability-related risks and opportunities across environmental, social and governance (ESG) dimensions using industry-specific criteria and publicly available data.
What began with only a few hundred participating companies more than two decades ago has grown significantly. In the latest assessment cycle, around 9,200 companies took part globally.
Reaching 25 years of continuous participation places Electrolux Group among a very small group of companies worldwide. Only 29 companies achieved the 25-year participation milestone this year, and just 56 companies in total have participated for 26 years or more — underscoring the exceptional nature of Electrolux Group’s sustained engagement.
Driving measurable progress through long-term sustainability benchmarking
“Participating in the CSA for 25 years shows how deeply sustainability is embedded in our strategy and operations,” says Elena Breda, SVP Product Strategy, Innovation, Sustainability, Electrolux Group. “It has helped us strengthen transparency, identify areas for improvement and continuously raise the bar across sustainability priorities.”
Following a renewed company-wide focus on the CSA in the latest assessment cycle, Electrolux Group achieved a 20-point increase in its overall score compared to the previous year. This improvement reflects stronger performance, enhanced data quality and closer alignment with evolving sustainability expectations.
Separately, Electrolux Group has been included in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026, which recognizes the world’s top-performing companies for sustainability across industries and regions.
To mark the 25-year milestone, S&P Global has awarded Electrolux Group a digital emblem recognizing long-standing participation and will present a special trophy at an upcoming S&P Global event celebrating the company’s achievement.
