Closing the door on inefficiency with Ecostore

In the creative chaos of professional kitchens, chefs are not the only ones required to continually outdo themselves.

Professional kitchens are tough environments that experience dramatic variations in both temperature and humidity throughout the day—in some cases reaching highs of 40 degrees Celsius and 40% humidity. These variations presents a challenge both in terms of food safety and energy efficiency, since the refrigerators and freezers in these kitchens are opened countless times every day.

More space, less waste

That’s where the new generation of our Ecostore line comes in, setting a new standard for professional refrigeration. Ecostore uses up to 65% less energy than a standard cabinet. It also provides more storage space. And since food spoilage is often due to variations in temperature and humidity brought on by frequent door opening, the latest Ecostore technology rapidly lowers the temperature to safe levels as soon as the door is closed again.

The Ecostore series meets the EU’s most stringent energy-efficiency requirements that will come into effect in 2016.
