The Group’s aim is to manage social, ethical and environmental risks responsibly while creating opportunities around new markets, products and materials. In addition to its overarching Sustainability Strategy the Group’s approach is presented in three pillars:

This work is supported by policies and targets to make operations and products more resource-efficient and maintain high social and ethical standards and transparency across the business. Each year Electrolux tracks progress against these and reports to stakeholders.

Defining performance metrics for these core themes is on-going, and the current position is illustrated in the Performance review tables in this section. Work on the ten core themes and their metrics will continue during in 2015. See the Performance review tables In the left hand navigation to learn more about progress on sustainability strategy and the issues considered most relevant to these ten themes within each of the three sustainability pillars.
