Matali Crasset, award-winning French industrial designer, Jason Bradbury, the UK’s famous Gadget and Consumer Technology journalist, Céline Cousteau, the daughter of ocean explorer/filmmaker Jean-Michel Cousteau and granddaughter of the legendary Jacques Cousteau, and Henrik Otto, Senior Vice President of Global Design at Electrolux, make up the jury of this year’s Design Lab.
There were no trains, buses or automobiles used by design colleagues one day recently in Stockholm from Floor Care and other sectors who instead biked, roller-bladed, ran, and walked to work in an effort to reduce their carbon footprints for one day. What started out as an ordinary morning turned into an environmental challenge for 25 creative minds at the Electrolux Industrial Design Center.
The iconic Ergorapido 2-in-1 vac received Japan’s prestigious Good Design Award in the Product Design category for the innovative, cutting-edge design of Ergorapido, the vacuum cleaner that has redefined cleaning habits.
So says celebrity chef Mattias Dahlgren, who is the namesake, CEO and creative leader of Restaurant Mathias Dahlgren, the newly opened à la carte restaurant in Stockholm’s exclusive Grand Hotel. And in this venue, a Molteni is what he got.
