At present, 63% (68) of the Group's workforce is represented by an independent trade union or covered by collective bargaining agreements.

Freedom of Association

See enclosed data. In 2010, Electrolux signed the International Framework Agreement with IF Metal, Unionen. The agreement includes protecting the rights of every employee to join trade unions of their choosing. See also the agreement Agreement.

Restructuring

As part of its restructuring program, Electrolux reduced its staff by approximately 500 (1,870) employees during 2012, particularly affecting operations in Europe. See more at Community.

Monitoring

As part of Code of Conduct audits, Electrolux checks to make sure that freedom of association and collective bargaining are part of doing business at each facility. The yearly ALFA assessment of Group operations confirmed high levels of compliance to the freedom of association and collective bargaining (98%). ALFA measures compliance with the Code of Conduct and Workplace Standard among all factories.
