Calculations are based on WRI’s “Calculation Tool for Direct Emissions from Stationary Combustion Calculation worksheets. July 2005. Version 3.0”. Indirect emissions have been calculated using CO2 Emissions from Fuel Combustion (2010 Edition), International Energy Agency (IEA). Emission factors have shifted three years (2009 to 2012) to allow year-on-year comparisons. Historical data have been revised in order to align with updated emission factors.
