Lars Worsøe Petersen appointed Head of Human Resources and Organizational Development and Carina Malmgren Heander will lead a new business unit

Lars Worsøe Petersen has been appointed Senior Vice President of Group Staff Human Resources and Organizational Development for Electrolux. He succeeds Carina Malmgren Heander, who has been appointed Senior Vice President and Head of a new Professional-Domestic business unit.

Lars Worsøe Petersen, born 1958, has been Head of Group Staff Human Resources at Husqvarna AB since 2005. Prior to the divestment of Husqvarna from Electrolux in 2006, Mr. Worsøe Petersen held several senior management roles in Electrolux, including Head of Human Resources for Major Appliances in North America.

“Lars Worsøe Petersen knows Electrolux well and brings experiences from another international consumer goods company. This is valuable as he strengthens our organizational development capabilities,” says Keith McLoughlin, President and CEO of Electrolux.

Mr. Worsøe Petersen will report to the CEO and be a member of Group Management.

Carina Malmgren Heander will lead a new business unit within Electrolux that will leverage the benefits of the Group’s Professional heritage and bring it to the consumer market. She will report to the CEO. Mrs. Malmgren Heander has been Senior Vice President of Group Staff Human Resources and Organizational Development for Electrolux since 2007. Before joining Electrolux she was Senior Vice President Human Resources for Sandvik AB, a global industrial group. Prior to that Mrs. Malmgren Heander held various management positions at ABB, a global leader in power and automation technologies.

The changes take effect on October 15, 2011.
