Electrolux launches new range of kitchen appliances in partnership with Poggenpohl Group

Electrolux is launching a new range of super-premium kitchen appliances to be offered with Poggenpohl’s Goldreif kitchens.

The new Electrolux Gourmet Range will be made available as a built-in component of Goldreif kitchens, a brand which is being reintroduced by Poggenpohl this autumn.

Tested by professional chefs, the Electrolux Gourmet Range complements the company’s ultra-luxury Electrolux Grand Cuisine cooking system and the premium Inspiration Range of appliances.

The launch of Electrolux Grand Cuisine in 2012 represented a breakthrough into a completely new product category. It is the only ultra-luxury professional cooking system specifically designed for home use, enhancing brand value by targeting high-end consumers. Whilst the Electrolux Inspiration Range targets the premium segment through intuitive professional shortcuts for domestic use, the Gourmet Range is tested by professional chefs to meet their exacting standards. This manifests itself through features such as temperature control on ovens to the nearest degree centigrade and a distribution strategy that will see the Electrolux Gourmet Range available only through kitchen retailers.

Electrolux Gourmet Range – Stylish design and enhanced performance

Sous-vide capability is offered through a vacuum sealing draw and combi-steam oven that offer precision temperature settings to the nearest degree. The range also includes a side by side refrigerator and wine cooler as well as an induction wok and teppanyaki hob. Exclusive design is ensured throughout with the considered application of steel and glass to provide an aligned visual identity and premium professional appearance.

The appliances will be showcased at the Poggenpohl showroom during Küchenmeile (www.kuechenmeile.de/) the kitchen retail trade exhibition, in Germany (15th – 30th September 2013) and at Poggenpohl stores around the world. The Electrolux Gourmet Range will be available to consumers from October 2013.
